Dear Sir or Madam
My name is Gianmatteo Costanza and I am studying Computer Science at
the ETH Zurich (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology). I have
arrived here in California just three weeks ago, and I have started
interning for a Swiss software company on Nov 1st. Unfortunately --
due to my employer's decision to close their office in San Mateo by
the end of the year -- I'm in search of an alternative intern position.
My internship was planned to last until the end of April 2006 (having
thus a six months program) and is a mandatory part of my Master
program. I have just completed my 8th semester, and I hold a Bachelor
diploma in Computer Science. I will complete the Master program by
the end of next year. My areas of interest are Distributed Systems,
Operating Systems, object-oriented Programming and Software
Architectures in general.
I have a permit to stay in the U.S. (J-Visa) and my legal sponsor
(AIPT) has already agreed upon switching my exchange program to
another employer -- as soon as I find one. I'm trying to apply for
various companies, but the best chances to find something would be if
I was recommended or introduced by someone involved. I would very
much appreciate any hint or suggestion.
