did you try using phone cards?
i am currently paying 2-5c a minute to CH.
it can be convenient with a cellphone, you program all the numbers, codes, and
so on, and shtore them as regular numbers in your phone book. (i have an entry
"aaphonecard, "home phone" is my mother, "mobile phone" my sister, and so on.
since it's so ridiculously cheap, one card lasts for a while. when i get a new
card, i just reprogram the card code.
this system has allowed me to have quick, cheap, one-button dial access to CH
from anywhere in the US.
program pauses for the delays, on some cell phones it's the letter "p" (hold the
7 key for a while during programing), on some carriers it's a different key.
the company I use is RNK telecom, I don't know if they exist in the west. go to
your 7eleven, they should have a variety of cards.
good luck,
patrik
