Class Philosophy and Content:
Classes are designed to have children and adults alike enjoy music in a non
competitive manner (with an introduction of tones and rhythm) and share basic
tools for parents to become music role models for their children. DISCOVER,
PRODUCE and IMPROVISE music in a group of 5 to 10 children. We sing, dance,
improvise and explore physical expression while playing with instruments, our
body and the voice. Getting together also means creating a "forum" where you
can bring in your own songs if you wish to, and share your musical/parenting
experience with the group.
• Classes in French or Spanish are instructed in that language and accompanied
by visual material which makes them accessible to everyone, regardless of
linguistic background & experience! These classes are a fun way to expose (or
reinforce) a foreign language for children.
