I am a Swiss citizen, was naturalized american and therefore have dual
citizenship. I am about to get married to a Spaniard who also has dual
citizenship USA/Spain. I plan on making sure that CH knows about this
union but had some random thoughts:
Should I, or can I even, get Spanish citizenshio in addition to the
ones I have, officially or unofficially?
Has anyone had similar unions and experienced problems in the process?
Thanks!
Xuan Mai Vo, DVM
I have no plans of ever letting go of my CH citizenship, especially in
light of the current election results and my hopes of moving back to
europe after our studies are over. (CH or EU, whichever has the jobs.)
