dear Swiss expats,

I will be moving to NYC in September as a postdoc research fellow (funded by SNF, for two years) and I am trying to get information about health insurance.

As I cannot join my University' health plan, I hesitate between remaining insured in Switzerland (and buying supplementary insurance) or joining a US plan.

What are your opinions, experience about this issue?

Any help will be greatly appreciated\u2026
