I did! I needed a waver from the Swiss embassy in Washington that they
"don't want me back." I called them up and they told me exactly what
I need to send them, they processed it in less than 24 hours and hand-
carried it over to the US office who handles these cases. It took them
about 3 months... I also had a lawyer who handled my H1 application
and kept an eye on them.
All this was about 9 years ago. No idea if the procedure is still the
same, but my advice is, contact the Swiss embassy.
