Dear Sir and Madam,
I am delighted to announce that ThinkSwiss is offering Travel Grants
for Life Sciences Summer Schools hosted by four top Swiss
universities. The undergraduate students will benefit from hands-on
research, training and exposure to cutting-edge issues within a
professional research community for up to ten weeks.
The selection of the awardees will be done by each summer school. The
call for applications closes on March 1, 2008 for the summer school
at the EPFL in cooperation with the University of Lausanne and on
April 1, 2008 for the school at the University of Zurich in a joint
program with the ETH Zurich.
Furthermore, I am pleased to recall the ongoing call for application
for the ThinkSwiss Research Scholarships selecting 15 talented and
motivated U.S. students (graduate and undergraduate) from all fields
of study who apply for a research project at a Swiss university or
research lab.
The ThinkSwiss Research Scholarship and Travel Grants for Life
Science Summer School take place within the scope of the ThinkSwiss
program. “ThinkSwiss – Brainstorm the future” is a U.S.-wide program
on Education, Research and Innovation in Switzerland.
