Hi,
I am an Indian national living in Switzerland and married to a Swiss national.
I was wondering if one gets any tax rebate/surcharge under Swiss laws given the
following situations:
(a) I buy a house/property in India (say) and take a loan for the same purpose there.
(b) I buy a piece of property in India with my personal savings/income which
have already been subjected to income tax.
(c) My family purchases a piece of property in my name in India itself.
Clearly, under all these situations, some tax is levied by the Indian government itself.
I would appreciate if someone could recommend a good tax advisor who can help with these issues. We live in Olten.
Regards
Vivek
