All I can say is that it worked for me. Simply do not forget the original
approval notice (with the new visa information).

I also had with me a letter of the employer stating that I worked for them,
recent paycheck stubs and my visa application. Just in case.

You need an appointment for the US embassy and the last time I checked (early
2004) the waiting period was 3 months. But it's certainly (?) shorter by now.
