Hi Matthieu,
when you want to stay with a Swiss insurance you need to buy the most
expensive plan (private coverage). when I was shopping around the best
deal was an international plan over soliswiss (www.soliswiss.ch), the
other option was the international health plan CSS is offering.
both plans are rather expensive but when you go back to Switzerland
you can smoothly join the same insurance without any checks. and the
us plans are also very expensive.
for an american health plan ask around (your new working colleges) to
get infos which plan is cheap and has decent service in your area.
health service is a hazzle in the us, it takes you a lot of patience
and it is very, very expensive.
