Hi all,
quick social security question: After having been on H-4's, my wife and
daugther got their greencards approved now together with me. In getting
a social security number, I am wondering whether the actual I-485
approval notice is sufficient or whether the SSA office will need to see
the actual greencard (which we don't have yet). The document that comes
from the SSA website does not cite the I-797 "notice of action" form
(which is the form for all these approvals) as legitimate document. Has
anyone got any experience?
cheers
Nico
