Of course it depends where you come from Canda and where you go to
Switzerland (Vancouver is not Montreal and Zurich is not ¨Fribourg)
I moved last year from CH to Canada and estimated the cost of living in
Canada to be 70% of that in CH. So your indications are correct (40% to
50% more in Switzerland).
