Location: Silicon Valley, California
We are looking for a highly motivated person to support our small team
in Atherton, California.
We offer a unique opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding into the
administration of investment funds while also conducting and learning
about investment research. We are an independent, SEC registered
investment advisor managing in-house investment funds and separate
client accounts. We invest in, and our clients are from both the US and
Europe.
The ideal candidate will be at ease with numbers, and take personal
interest in the success of our firm. Tasks include fund accounting,
regulatory compliance work, general administration, security analysis
and research projects.
While we do not expect you to be familiar with the specific tasks you
will be exposed to initially, you should have a strong quantitative
background. You should also be a quick learner and be familiar to take
on new and complex concepts with ease. We are looking for a
self-motivated individual, able to take significant responsibility. To
succeed with administrative tasks, you need to be precise; to succeed
with research projects, you need to be an independent, critical thinker.
This is a position you can grow into over time, a position where you are
given a lot of responsibility and room to learn, but also a position
where you can add value to our firm very early on.
Alternatively, if you are a highly experienced fund accountant, we
welcome your application for a part-time position focusing on
accounting, financial statement preparation and regulatory compliance.
