Hi everyone

I was in a similar situation. My solution....just do not declare you're
Swiss income. It was already taxed in Switzerland and a treaty between US
and CH prevents double taxation. So, either you go the hard way and declare
the income and take out late in the form as tax deductible (and add a
latter explaining why, including all Swiss forms and income statements and
translations thereof and so on and on and on) or you just do not declare
it. The IRS has no idea about this income and even if you get audited the
IRS will most likely not even care that you did not declare since it does
not have to do anything with US income and was earned before you arrived.
