Nicole, you would notice the exact same reaction from some swiss if a
foreigner starts to talk about our famous banks and their lack of
initiatives (to be politically correct) against money laundering, or
their involvement during WWII for example.
I enjoy living both in the US and in CH. Probably because each time I
moved from one country to another I made sure I left some of my
conceptions of life at the customs. I think you are rarely
disappointed when you try to embrace cultural differences (isn't
called integration?). We have a right to be critical, but I find
rather childish to even argue on "my country is better than yours".
