Dear Swiss-List subscribers,

Did anyone among you recently apply for a waiver of the J-1 induced
two-year home residence requirement based on a "no objection" letter
issued by the Swiss embassy?

How long did it take to receive the recommendation from the State
Department?

How long did it take to get subsequent H-1B approval?

Did anyone succeed in "bypassing" the two-year requirement without a
waiver by petitioning for an O-visa instead of an H-1B?

Thank you for your information.

Patrick
