Dear all,
This Consulate General was overwhelmed by your response to our e-mail of
last Friday. We received close to 100 offers for rooms for Swiss citizens.
We knew that we could count on you and your support conforts us in our
initiative.
Due to the development of the situation (the first Swissair plane arrived on
Saturday, September 15th in San Francisco) there is no immediate need any
more for a Swiss hot line since Swiss citizens have the opportunity to
return to Switzerland.
We wish to thank everyone for your readiness to help in those difficult
times and I shall always be grateful for your assistance and kindness.
