European Webgroup Receives $4.4 Million Investment
28 November 00 - Swiss-based venture capital firm, European Webgroup, has
received $4.4 million in investment from TL Ventures. European Webgroup is
an Internet investment and management company with offices in Switzerland
and the U.S. Robert E. Keith, a co-founder of TL Ventures will join the
European Webgroup's board of directors. The European Webgroup will act as
the preferred partner of TL Ventures in supporting their portfolio companies
in entering the European market place. The European Webgroup was founded in
December 1999 and has more than $750 million under management. It has
invested in eight portfolio companies in Europe and the U.S. Partners Group
is also a strategic investor in the European Webgroup.
