o Swiss Healthcare ASP DrGlobe.com Gets $300,000 in Seed Funds

GENEVA, Switzerland -- DrGlobe.com, an applications
service provider for the healthcare industry, said
it received $300,000 in its seed round of financing.
Individual investors participated in the round.
The company plans to use the funding for service
development. DrGlobe.com offers services to individuals,
employers, and physicians in Europe through its
Web site and wireless devices.

o Streaming Video Company SeeItFirst.com Gets $14 Million

FREMONT, Calif. -- SeeItFirst.com, a provider of
interactive streaming video technology and services,
said it received $14 million in a round of financing.
Participants in the round include Deutsch Investments,
NBC, Swiss Finanz, and Wit Soundview. The funding
will be used for technology development. Also, the
company plans to expand its headquarters and production
center and to establish offices in Asia and Europe.
The SeeItFirst.com streaming platform does not require
additional plug-ins and is compatible with streaming
media players.

o Dell Ventures to Seek Out Investments in Europe and Israel

TEL AVIV -- Dell Computer said its venture capital
unit, Dell Ventures, will begin investing in Europe
and Israel over the next six months. Dell Ventures
was set up in the United States a year ago and has
 made 90 investments, worth approximately $1 billion,
in U.S. companies. The company plans to seek investment
opportunities in the U.K., Germany, Nordic countries,
and Israel. The fund will focus on wireless technology
companies and Internet companies, but will not be
exclusive to those areas. The fund's main objective
will be to enhance Dell Computer's strategic positioning
in the regions.
