Set up commercial strategy (establish list of clients and partners,
determine means required,…) Manage commercial staff (fix sales
objectives, incentive programmes,…) Participation in Executive
(strategic commercial decisions, impact of clients' needs on R&D,
product pricing policy,…) Set up marketing and promotional policy
(public relations, press,…) Direct marketing (business meetings, forums,
contact networks…).
PROFILE
- High level commercial/technical studies (e.g. HEC or EPF) preferably
with MBA
- Background: engineer with commercial orientation (for example, began
as computer or programming consultant went on to be project leader and
then commercial director)
- Important network of contacts in new technologies and the Internet
- Previously head of production unit or advisor for a particular area
(e.g. responsible for sale of particular range of products in Europe)
- Computing and Internet background essential (for example IBM, DIGITAL,
HP,...)
- Bilingual French/English
- Experience in a start-up an advantage
- Experience with a large ISP an advantage
- Hard worker, capable of initiative and vision.
