Hello!
I am a Visiting Researcher (i.e. working on my Ph.D.) here in
Comparative Literature. As it looks now, I will be in a rather
desperate housing situation starting on November 1, when I will have
to unexpectedly leave the place where I am living at this moment -
which will be right in the middle of preparations for papers and
exams. On-campus housing, which I should have moved into in the first
place, was not available, and I arrived here from Switzerland when
the quarter had already started, i.e. too late to find anything
decent.
So this is, in short, a kind of emergency note, asking if anyone
would have a spare room (in the Stanford area) where I might be able
to stay from November 1 until, at least, the end of this quarter,
i.e. mid December (possibly longer).
I would be very grateful to whoever might be able to help.
