Hi,

In the US you can ask Social Security for a record of your contributions to the
system, they get the information from what your employer reports to the IRS (and
not from your tax return). That's nice to know but many people say to make sure
you ask for that report to see if all your information is correct, at times
there may be problem with the records for Foreigners or for women that change
their name or have an heifinated (I do not know how to spell it but - ) name.
Anyway in my case everything was ok!

In the US (as in CHI) the number of years you contribute to the system determine
the amount of $ that you will get back at retirement.

So I was wondering if there is a way in Switzerland to request the same type of
records.

I will post the procedure for requesting the US record later if you need it.

Ciao,
Luca
