About this language thing...

Besides the fact that there was just recently a posting in french coming
from someone external to the list, I still think Anne has a very good
point.

We all need to make an effort and use english. It's that simple. This
applies to the list, but also to all our gatherings and social functions.
The picnic the other day is a perfect example. While everybody does speak
english, it is easy to revert to french or german when in a group that
speaks either language.
Unfortunately, it really prevents other people speaking another language to
join in the conversation.

I think that if we all make the effort to always speak in english in these
situations, we will all meet a lot of people we never talked to before
because of these language issues.

Laurent
