Hello everybody,
Let me first thank Laurent Mieville who organized yesterday's
BBQ and thank all those who showed up. I had a great time
meeting new (Swiss) people, having a couple of white wine
glasses (there was even Swiss wine, thank you Xavier Chillier)
while keeping an eye on the meat and the other on the kids.
I just want to draw your attention on a paper on today's
New York Times
http://www.nytimes.com/yr/mo/day/news/world/072098europe-farming.html
with a (remote) connection to the gene initiative. The paper is
about "Bucking U.S. Trend, Europe Blocks Gene-Altered
Food", but strangely enough has as an anchor point a Swiss
organic farmer from Dallikon.
Laurent
