Hi Anne & Fabien,
For the tax treaty, if you have a scholarship from Switzerland, you can
mention its amount in your tax forms and also mention the tax treaty number
which allows you not to pay any tax on this income. I have a copy of the tax
treaty and I can give you the number.
If you are paid directly by the University here, you may end up most likely
to pay taxes on your wages.
About H1B, Anne you can check the newsgroup alt.visa.us for more info. Use
www.dejanews.com and make a search about your specific question.
