Dear Startup List,
On behalf of Nandini Tandon and the TIE a special invitation for the
BioE2E constituents: http://tiesv.org/allevents/SIG_Nov04_2003.htm
Nandini has arranged with the organizers that they will honor BioE2E
members at the special TIE member rate which is $35 onsite registration
with dinner included. BioE2E members need to bring the print out of the
announcement stating the special rate.
Please note that there will be no BioE2E event this first Wednesday of
November.
Life Sciences SIG: "How did 2003 unfold and what do we expect in 2004?"
As the year is coming to a close, the industry leaders will review the
challenges, successes and failures the Life Sciences industry faced in
2003 and what trends they expect in 2004. Given the market conditions in
2003, how are the life science industry players preparing themselves for
2004? Are they optimistic, cautious or pessimistic? How are the industry
players making investment decisions? What makes an opportunity an
attractive investment, what is the process of valuation? What new
partnering trends can we expect in 2004? The panelists will discuss their
individual areas of expertise with special emphasis on emerging
technologies, business models, exit strategies including IPO window. The
format will allow for a rich discussion amongst the panelists and
interaction with the audience.
