Vladmir,

This is what I said: Switzerland (and maybe a lot of other European countries) has a
sophisticated wireless system, which is not - or only weak - existing here in the
States. This does not mean that the US people do not have another exposure and another
behavior to distances (I notice that myself when we have Swiss friends for vacation
and drive more than an hour to LA only for dinner).

Well, you're bad informed. Right now the monthly price for a cable access to the
Internet in Switzerland is CHF 49 for the basic access as well as CHF 15 for the rent
of the cable modem. Which is less expensive than your USD 49 for DSL.

Nope. Even xDSL is less expensive than the 90.--

I do not agree.

I know that the US banking system is extremely inconvenient and not at all our
standard (I have my experiences, too). I am not defending it. I simply say that the
whole system, the whole market differs.

You are picking a single incidence from a whole system.

Agree. But it's the market who decides.

Agree. But you forget all the great Swiss inventions which are marketed by foreign
companies in foreign countries - like let's say, the LCD, which was invented by a
Swiss guy, as far as I know. There are a lot Swiss inventions like that simply because
the Swiss government or - even more - the Swiss investors did not take as much risks
as, say, the US investors.

Agree. But I said while Swiss investors take less risks, the Swiss market may be more
healthy.
