"Musicking over the network: an emerging sociocultural practice?"

This presentation provides an overview of recent developments in
network technologies and musical practices that allow real-time and
time shifted musical interactions between geographically separated
users. The presentation includes a set of case studies and examines
how such changes have an impact on the way music is being produced
and performed. The talk will be followed by a musical and visual
multi-player networked performance.
