Please join us for the monthly Swiss American Chamber of Commerce Stammtisch held every second Thursday of the month at 5:30 pm at swissnex. Beata Lewis, of Bridging Lives, will lead an interactive session on “the stories that are essential for masterful leadership.” Beata will discuss stories which inspire and give meaning for the commitments and actions by which we create our results. What are the elements of a compelling story that generates synergy and a big “wow!” in business? Come prepared to participate and to be surprised. Following Beata's presentation will be an update for Club Entrepreneur, the Chamber's program that supports carefully selected new business ideas with talent and guidance from appropriate Chamber members.

Appetizers, refreshments, and chocolate will be served by the Chamber. Fred Christen of Nespresso will pour espressos, lattes and cappuccinos.

Stammtisch is held the 2nd Thursday of the month from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm at swissnex, 730 Montgomery Street, San Francisco, CA 94111, (http://www.swissnex.org/connect.html). Agenda: Doors open at 5:30 pm for informal networking; the SACC provides an overview at 6pm; the presentation starts at 6:15pm; Club Entrepreneur presents at 7pm; and the event ends at 7:30 with those who wish to departing for a no-host dinner at a local restaurant.

Fred Christen, Nespresso host
Born in Campbell, CA, to Swiss immigrants, it seemed natural to Fred to work for a Swiss company…. Nestle. With 17 years coffee experience (13 years with Nestle), he joined Nespresso as an independent Sales Partner for their professional business solutions automated espresso machine division. Nespresso, a division of Nestle, launched their capsule method of espresso in Switzerland and Italy in 1986. In 1996, Nespresso’s Professional System was introduced and is now in 35 countries.
