1) Java Developer Senior and Junior
We are looking for talented individuals who have in depth knowledge of a
wide range of technologies and
programming skills to help us enhance our platform and integrate our
trading system with our partners.
The ideal candidate must be a quick learner who can understand the
feature requirements, assess the effort,
implement the design and follow through to release; a solid
understanding of all cycles of planning and
implementation is required. The candidate must also possess excellent
communication and written skills.
* Solid understanding of Java threading and network programming
concepts.
* Experience with XML, XSL, JMS, JMX and web services.
* Understanding of application level security, SSL, PKI.
* Previous work experience with Apache and Tomcat.
* Working knowledge of database design, sql and stored procedure is a
plus.
2) Java GUI Developer
We are recruiting Java software engineers to develop and enhance our
award winning GUI trading application.
Currenex's distributed server technology can process millions of
exchange-rate updates per second, 24 hours a
day. Consequently, our GUI application must be able to handle this
demanding load while providing an
ergonomic and intuitive interface to facilitate quick information
processing. As such, we are looking for a
creative candidate who can not only implement a technically challenging
set of requirements, but someone who
has desire and drive to seek out improvement and think like a trader
* Exceptional Java coding skills with a strong expertise in Swing/AWT,
Java Applets and WebStart.
* Solid understanding of object oriented design and design patterns.
* Strong foundation in computer science with very good analytical and
quantitative skills.
* Prior experience in financial markets/foreign exchange and/or
experience in developing trading GUI's or graphing/charting applications
is a strong plus.
* Internationalization and Localization skills a plus.
