an Entrepreneur focused Stammtisch. This two-part meeting will begin with a
presentation by Jesus Martin-Garcia, Director, eClosion Life Sciences
Incubator, Geneva, Switzerland and will conclude with our local Club
Entrepreneur update by Bruno Schurter, Marc Dangear and their team.

Mr. Jesus Martin-Garcia, head of new enterprise development, will speak about this new incubator: "ECLOSION's primary target in the USA is young Swiss or "Swissophile" scientists/innovators thinking about an entrepreneurial career. I would like to show them that Eclosion offers a stimulating, competitive, world class environment to develop their innovations, in one of the best regions to live and raise a family in the world. Or, in other words, you do not need to sacrifice anymore your personal life to launch a successful start-up. My long term, goal is that Swiss scientists-innovators systematically send their business concepts to Eclosion, and that we attract the best back here."
ECLOSION is a new structure funded by government and private funds that will accelerate development of new companies in high tech sectors such as life sciences, medical technologies, mecatronics, etc. It is the first project to integrate, from the start, all of the factors necessary for the development of new high tech enterprises: space, logistics, consultancy, coaching and financing. This dynamic and innovative framework has the State financing operations of the incubator and private investors financing the creation of new firms. This experiment by the government will run 5 years and then be reevaluated based on the volume of enterprise creation, job openings and financial results.
Following a short break, Bruno Schurter, Marc Dangear and their team from Club Entrepreneur will take the floor and update us on the project to date. A venture has been selected, and this will be the last opportunity to join the team for the first round. The idea owner will be present to discuss the project and meet prospective members of his team.
We encourage all of you with entrepreneurial aspirations and those of you who would like to join an entrepreneurial team to join us for what is sure to be a great meeting.
