MEET THE ALINGHI TEAM - winners of the 2003 America's Cup !
Winner of the America’s Cup 2003, the Swiss Team Alinghi is preparing
to meet again with Oracle BMW Racing. A series of duels – the Moet Cup
– will take place in the San Francisco Bay, September 15-20. On a
shortened but very windy course, this event will be a guaranteed
spectacle, and the official launch of the America’s Cup 2007 campaign !
September 12 is your chance to meet the Alinghi Team at swissnex, the
new Swiss “House” in San Francisco connecting the dots between science,
education, art and innovation. The evening includes a presentation by
Alinghi Skipper Russell Coutts, a display of the America’s Cup, a mixed
media installation entitled “Sea/Sky 2003” by Swiss artist Liz
Oppenheimer, as well as the opportunity to learn more about the Alinghi
scientific partner Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, and
network with University of Zurich Executive MBA students.
