Hello Friends,

Please join me for a special evening at Schroeder's Thursday, November 7th
at 5:30 pm at 240 Front Street in San Francisco. Although this is the usual
time for our monthly Stammtisch business social, I have invited a special
guest who will offer us an interpretation of the marketplace that is
anything but 'usual'.

Jeanne Bellew, President and COO of Hecht and Associates, Inc to speak with
us. Hecht and Associates is an educational organization specializing in
teaching people how to increase their enterprise value and produce a
competitive advantage while at the same time increasing their autonomy,
incomes, wealth and time spent with their families. In her 16 years with
Hecht and Associates, Jeanne has helped thousands of business people
increase their performance in the marketplace. I have been working with
Hecht and Associates for the last 2 ½ years and have found their education
to be the most valuable investment I have made for developing my thinking
and performance in the marketplace and I consider it a privilege to make
this opportunity available to you.

Because of our changing economies and our increased daily competition, many
people are discovering that their thinking, practices and ambition are
insufficient for long term success. During the evening you will be
introduced to sophisticated thinking and practical ways of leading, managing
and selling during times of rapid change so that your ability to produce
more competitive results and a positive public identity is increased. As
your reputation for consistent results builds, so does the possibility for
you to produce more income, wealth, time with family, and peace of mind
during the entirety of your career.

Rapid change is both a serious threat and a tremendous opportunity for
ambitious individuals. Change makes already existing or traditional
practices for leadership, management and selling obsolete. This situation
threatens business people who are tranquilized with the 'way it has been'
and do not learn to invent new offers and practices. The same situation
opens new possibilities for people who learn to design more compelling
offers and practices to accumulate wealth and power. Always those who
develop their capacity to think and design new action will have a
competitive advantage over those who are tranquilized or complacent with
their already existing way of acting.

The marketplace in which we are living, competing and building our identity
is changing with increased velocity. We are in new situations and have not
fully realized the consequences. Traditional practices for succeeding, such
as the following are now obsolete:

· Hard work ' does not pay off, except with fatigue.
· A positive attitude ' does not mean customers (internal
          and external) will be satisfied.
· Copying and mimicking others or learning from experts ' only
ensures that we will be 'behind the curve' in our performance
and operate at high cost to our companies and ourselves.
· Experience ' requires too much time to build and quickly
becomes obsolete unless it is fundamental.

Rapid change challenges our normal common sense about business and increases
our need to learn good leadership, management and sales skills. People who
cannot cope with change, who cannot lead, who are not able to design new and
ever more powerful offers and practices lose the capacity to build autonomy,
income and wealth. The people on our team need to be those who are willing
to adapt to these changing times with professionalism and innovation.

During the meeting you will be introduced to a new common sense about
accumulating power and wealth that exploits opportunities produced by rapid
and radical change. You will also learn about new thinking and distinctions
that will help you resolve whether or not your current practices in
leadership, management and sales are sufficient for fulfilling your ambition
and producing a life that is meaningful to you and your family in a rapidly
changing marketplace.

At the end of the evening, you will have the opportunity to learn about
Hecht and Associates' educational programs, The Business Professional's
Course and The LEIP Program (Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Innovation and
the accumulation of Power). Through the BPC, the participants who receive
incentive based compensation increase their incomes on average 75%, a 180%
annual rate of return ' 3.8 times the return produced by the top 30 MBA
programs in the U.S.

Please email me at stammtisch_at_fastmetrics.com by November1st to RSVP to this
invitation.

Please come to this special evening ready to learn some new distinctions for
thinking and acting in your marketplace. I look forward to seeing you
there!

Warmly,

Andreas Glocker
