The following info comes with the caveat that I work at UCSF, so I'm not
"objective".

However, I think care at the UCSF Women's Health Center is excellent. (I
get my own care there.) However, depending on your insurance, access to the
faculty OB-GYN's might be tricky. Depending on your problem, you may only
see a Nurse Practitioner. Which is not bad, since they are excellent too.
I especially recommend Kim O'Hair, NP, who is an angel.
UCSF Women's Health Center
2356 Sutter Street

BaySpring Women's Medical Group also has a good reputation.

As for "motivated office clerks", please be aware that due to among other
factors the dictatorship of managed care etc. ALL office clerks in medical
clinics are overworked, underpaid, and usually stressed to the max, so
please give them some slack ... most of them really do try to do a good job.

just my 5 cts. worth ...
