Enrico:

UBS compiles such data yearly. It is used by all (?) major
companies to determine the salaries of their expats. Some
years ago, the information was available as a brochure from
any branch (at least all major ones). I would expect this to be
available online now. If you don't find it, let me know and
I *may* be able to dig it out for you. Actually, the vice-director
of the now non-existent research center of UBS had designed a great
GUI to visualize and compare cost of living based on the information
of the UBS. I think he has now a start-up.
