The busy season continues at SHARE and we are all looking forward to
seeing you at some of the upcoming events that we are preparing. Next
Wednesday, May 12th at 6:15pm, we will have a public discussion on the
financing of higher education with Swiss and US panelists as well as the
participation of 20 presidents, deans and top-administrators from Swiss
"Universities of Applied Sciences" (Fachhochschulen/Hautes Ecoles
Specialisees). Details below.

Please join us to discuss the future of higher education with key

Our distinguished panelists will give their perspectives on the
"Financing of Higher Education in 2015" and engage into a debate with
the audience on this topic. Confirmed speakers:

- Ursula Akmann, president, University of Applied Sciences for Music and
Theatre, Zurich
- Jean-Philippe Mayor, executive director of the Engineering School of

The discussion will cover questions linked to fundraising trends,
industry support for higher education, the role of the public sector and
the kind of education students can expect in the future from colleges
and universities. The panelists will also share their thoughts on
