An Overview on the Wireless Industry and 2 Exciting Wireless Company
Presentations
On Tuesday evening, March 12, 2002, the EIVC Forum will present a 'primer' on
the wireless industry followed by presentations from two very exciting, early
stage, wireless companies. The evening will begin with a review of the
wireless industry by noted industry expert and former UNSTRUNG founder and
editor Josh Newman who is now at SEVEN, a global wireless software company
that has raised $64 million in two rounds during a rough financing market.
Josh really knows wireless, and he'll explain the industry's problems,
challenges, opportunities and the diverse range and direction of developments
occuring within it. After Josh's review, two early stage wireless companies,
working in different parts of the industry, with seasoned and experienced
management teams, will present their market visions and business plans.
WIRELESS COMPANY PRESENTATIONS: ON Networks, offers ubiquitious wide area
wireless connectivity solutions to enable smart products of the future, and
HIPnTASTY, develops both software 'engines' and innovative fun applications
(which showcase content that enable media, marketing and telecom companies to
expand their content offerings to the wireless consumer).
Each company will present an overview of their business, go-to-market
strategies, technology and management as well as the market challenges which
they foresee in 2002 and beyond. The audience is always encouraged to
provide critical feedback during the Q&A following each presentation. After
the presentations, all attendees will have the opportunity to participate in
'organized' networking. EIVC events are a place to learn, network, and do
business, and are open to all who are interested in emerging companies. See

PRESENTING COMPANIES
¨ ON Networks, Inc. - Jay Moskowitz, CEO
ON Networks provides innovative wireless enabling technology and connectivity
solutions, making it practical and profitable for manufacturers to add
interactive connectivity to mass-marketed products and home medical devices
thereby reducing time to market, increasing sales, and enhancing
profitability. ON Networks provides its clients a competitive advantage
through new product innovations and recurring revenue streams. The
patent-pending OPEN (tm) Wireless platform, delivered over existing
narrowband wireless infrastructure, provides a complete end-to-end solution
without the need for broadband access, dial-up connections or even dependence
on the home PC.
¨ HIPnTasty - Margit Pearson - CEO
HipnTasty's aim is to drive content development and usage volume to wireless
phones and PDAs with our proprietary, easy-to-use tools and software.
HipnTasty (HnT) creates innovative, fun wireless entertainment and promotions
applications that are licensed by media, marketing and telecom companies and
allow their non-technical staff to refresh the showcase content used in our
applications. HnT's web-based tools enable wireless consumers to expand on
that content generating "cost free" revenue to HnT and to its customers. HnT
has partnerships with EMI, home of the world's largest music catalogue and
EyeBoogie, creators of VH1's PopUp Video and several others on the technology
side of the wireless business. HnT is not a game platform. It integrates its
technology for distribution over the major platforms chosen by telecom
carriers. Consumers using HnT applications pay carriers who in turn share
that revenue with HnT.
