Digital Chocolate is looking for a dedicated and passionate
individual to take charge of our Network Operations organization,
which is comprised of a primary production 24x7 data center, its
operation and its support team. It includes overseeing Network and
System Administration for our production, testing and development
systems, Database Administration and Production support. The position
also oversees Release and Configuration Management and Data Warehousing.
This is an opportunity to be working with the cutting edge in mobile

in computer gaming, Digital Chocolate is developing cell phone games
that take advantage of the unique networking aspect of the mobile
platform.

Responsibilities include:
* Lead, manage and grow the NetOps team supporting all our mobile
games, including remote team in Europe.
* Provide 24x7 support capability to ensure that the production
environment is highly available with high performance/response times.
* Manage all technology infrastructure and proactively grow
organizational and technical capacity.
* Manage capital and operations budget and work with CFO to ensure
accurate hardware, software and headcount projections.
* Identify, implement, and evaluate configuration, process, service,
and security improvements.
* Overall Technology vendor management; Work with technology vendors
to negotiate new and existing technology contracts.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Proven project and people management skills.
* Successful 24x7 production operations experience required.
* Ability to be very hands-on with Linux, Cisco configuration and mySql.
* An understanding of infrastructure monitoring frameworks and
automation processes.
* Broad knowledge of current and emerging technologies and how they
can be applied to solve business problems
* BS in computer science or related discipline with 6-10 years
information services experience, at least 3 years of which were in a
management role.
