Title: Building a Positive Corporate Culture
Date: November 6, 2002 at 7:00pm
Location: Wilson Sonsini, 950 Page Mill Rd., Palo Alto, CA
Cost: $20, at the door.

AThis event will focus on corporate culture in the biotech industry and
discuss methods for the development and maintenance of a positive
culture. A positive corporate culture is critical to the growth of new
companies. A panel of distinguished leaders in the industry will address
the following points:

o Defining corporate culture and corporate identity
o Creating the appropriate vision and mission
o How to maintain innovation, high morale and a positive outlook
      even in the presence of bad news
o Team building and hiring practices
o Communicating bad news and investor pressure internally
o Reverse hiring practice: high turn-over, lay-offs, spin-outs
o Success stories, implementation details, and points to avoid

Announcing: 2003 BioE2E Life Sciences Alternative Funding Fair

Last April, BioE2E ran a full day event to provide access and
information to alternative funding sources for biotech companies. The
event was a huge success, and details (+slides) of the event are online

alternative funding in 2003 and have selected the date: Friday,
February 28, 2003. Please mark your calendars and look for future
