I don't know how many of you have heard of "First Tuesday"
(www.firsttuesday.com) already.
"First Tuesday" has initially been establish by three guys in London, which
felt there where not enough networking opportunities for entrepreneurs,
venture capitalist and people interested in working in entrepreneurial
companies.
They meet every first Tuesday of the month, what gave the event the name.
The idea has spread enthusiastically across Europe (most events require
tickets because of the crazy demand) and today every major city has a "First
Tuesday" Chapter.

Saluti,

Stefano

Subject: Re: brain drain-propositions

About the discussion brain-drain and the Swiss
Scientist willing to come back to Switzerland.
I would like to add some comment. Hopefully it will
help people to decide to stay or to go.
My concerns are about people respect and not so much
the technology.
I was a Swiss Scientist in the Silicon Valley and came
back to Switzerland last fall.
The first welcome back was " You have to pay your
military tax".
Second, If your wife/husband is not Swiss, this happen
quit often; she/he may hold a B-visa and will have to
pay around Fr. 92.- every year to be legally in
Switzerland.
If you still in the process to decide to move or not,
Just think twice.

Have fun in California...

Best regards

Philippe W Loup
