Hi
my advice: try the credit card company. It is a slim chance but better than
nothing. If you get your money back, you can at least buy a new ticket.
Crossair will not fly to the US since they do not have any licences to do
so nor do they have the planes and pilots to do so. If they take over what
is left from SwissAir they will not honor any tickets since all SwissAir
tickets will be invalid as you mentioned. In other words: you'll never get
your ticket to be worth more than the paper its printed on.That's at least
what I could extract from the newspapers and SwissAir web page.
Sorry to hear about your bad luck, the same happened to me (including also
additional tickets for my family). Since I booked via American Airlines
I'll try to get re-booked to another AA flight. but I will have to pay some
extra fees.....if I get the seats.
Good luck
Michael
