After 1.5 yrs using a debit card we decided we needed a credit card in
the US. It seems that there are credit cards without fees out there but
you can't have them without a CREDIT HISTORY.
How does one build a credit history? Do I need to purchase some of the
payable credit cards (they are about $50 processing fee plus $50 annual
fee)? Is this the only way? Are there any cheaper ones?
In fact, the only reason I want a c.c. is that I want to take advantage
of free collision rental car insurance.
