The Chamber is pleased to present a program on the eve of the income tax filing
deadline.
Please join Hans Overturf, your host for the evening, and Brian Rowbotham, our
presenter, at 5:30 pm this Thursday evening at swissnex, 730 Montgomery Street.
Mr. Rowbotham's firm advises multi-national companies on tax and wealth
planning strategies. The presentation will include income and estate
planning strategies in the following areas: pre arrival and pre departure
strategies; the use of foreign trusts, foundation, and foreign holding
companies; business and investment structures; compensation planning;
expatriation planning under the new Tax Act; tax Treaty applications; questions
and answers on tax filing issues.

Mr. Rowbotham has been advising businesses and individuals on global tax
planning for 27 years and he currently manages the firm's global tax practice.
Mr. Rowbotham is a guest lecturer on corporate and international tax at the
Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley and has
spoken to professional tax and investment groups and to venture capital
organizations in Europe and Asia. Before founding the firm, he worked with an
international tax group of PriceWaterhouseCoopers and had assignments in London
and Geneva. Mr. Rowbotham has a Bachelors degree in accounting and an MBA from
the University of California, Berkeley.
