Sat morning, the alemany farmer's market has excellent croissants
and pains au chocolat. Also, the farmer's market on fillmore
at eddy. For this latter farmer's market, the croissant are
made by a Mr. and Mme Bunand. They make the bread/croissant at 100
revere st (but don't have a storefront, even though I think you can
buy from them there. It's hunter's point/bayview-ish, that's not
a friendly neighborhood, that's why they sell out of the farmer's
markets). They are real French bakers, very good croissants.
