Dear SwissTalents members,
A delegation of more than 20 high ranking Swiss officials active in
science & technology policy will be in the Bay Area in September. Among
the participants are the State Secretary for Science & Research Charles
Kleiber,
the Swiss Ambassador in Washington Christian Blickenstorfer, the CEO of
the Centre suisse d'électronique et microtechnique (CSEM), most Swiss
Science & Technology Counselors from around the world, and many more.
Part of their trip will be dedicated to studying the Silicon Valley
environment. In the attached file "delegation.pdf" you will not only
find the list of participants, but also the answers they gave to three
questions we asked them in advance, to try to identify their
expectations for their journey.
You are invited to meet this delegation as well as the local science,
technology and business community, at a Networking Event Thu Sept. 12,
which will be hosted by the company SpotLife, now a division of
Logitech, in San Mateo. Food and drinks will be courtesy by the Swiss
Science & Technology Office.
