I worked with this co., and they seem okay:
AFEX International Financial Services
221 Sansome Str.
SF, CA 94104
(415) 364-4210
contact: Assia Chentouf
assiac_at_afex.com
They work with the CH Consulate.

P.S. I found though that, on balance, the best deal is to either have a
Swiss credit card and draw cash here directly from a CH account via an ATM,
or, for larger amounts, have the money transferred by the Swiss bank in
DOLLARS (i.e. you get the Swiss bank's exchange rate).
Anyway, the dollar is a lot more favorable that it used to be, so that helps
too ....

Subject: sfbay: Foreign Exchange SFR to US$
Greetings,
Can anybody recommend a foreign currency exchange place here in the Bay
Area,
which offers decent exchange rates? Unlike those that the big banks have
with
their horrible rates and fees.
I was told SFO airport offers better rates, but wanted to check first if
there
are any others.
Cheers,
Matthias
