> Any Swisslist readers in the midwest area?
From the Great Plains, the border between the Midwest and the West..
I fully agree with Michael: the issues are identical, and we have
every advantage of receiving all messages. Those about garage sales
and parties we cannot attend are not (yet) overwhelming. In the
meanwhile, I subscribed to both lists, which means I'll be receiving
this message twice, *sigh*.
An alternative is to create additional lists for local news/events:
eastcoast_at_swiss-list.com and westcoast_at_swiss-list.com, and keep the
current one (swiss-list_at_swiss-list.com) for the Americas..
We may end up having, in the future, canada_at_swiss-list.com,
japan_at_swiss-list.com, mexico_at_swiss-list.com, etc..
Cheers,
-Berthe
ps: actually, the legend says that a brick star at the corner of 13th
and O streets in Lincoln is the start of the West! I have yet to
check it up.
