The Pension Invest Mutual Funds only work for your retirement money
(2nd and 3rd pilar). I don't know whether you can add some
extra-money. I did not want to do that.
I used the Pension Invest Mutual Funds only to invest all the money
I had already paid into my retirement funds back in Switzerland, with
the goal to achieve a better performance than leaving the money on a
"Freizuegigkeitskonto". I don't plan to touch this money in the near
future.
I do have a 401(k) plan here as long as I am working in the US. For
the time being I think of returning back to Switzerland in a few
years. And hopefully it will be possible to transfer then my US 401(k)
money into the 2nd pilar of my new Swiss employer, without too much
tax deductions...

Camille
