Some other issues:

It would be really nice if there would be a tax treaty for post-docs and other
Swiss researcher who do not teach. Also it would be nice if 403b and 401k
money could be transfered to Swiss pension plans without having to pay US
taxes before the transfer (another tax treaty). Another issue would be that
all J1 visas for researchers on a SNF fellowship should automatically be
exempt
from the home requirement when the visa is issued in Bern (Swiss government
should put some pressure on US visa officials in Bern or whatever).
