Dear all,
i need some help about the visa stuff. I've been in Boston for 6 months
with a J1 subject to the 2 years rule. Now, i have an offer from a US
company but we can't apply for the H1 'cause of the 212e. I have some
practical questions in the following:
- It seems that i need a waiver. Is it really so long to get?
- Assuming to get the waiver, can I apply again for a J (or maybe an F)
visas, instead of waiting for the next year H1?
Actually, the real problem in my case would be to wait next year for the
H1 and i would like to find a way (if there is one) to leave before with
any other status and convert to H1 once in US.
Thank to everybody for any help
Regards
gianluca
